There are rumours that Sergio Aguero could leave Manchester City at the end of the season due to his broken relationship with Pep Guardiola.
It appears to be common knowledge that Guardiola is one of football’s more calculated managers, and despite sometimes going against the grain, the Spaniard’s decisions normally pay-off.
An unexperienced Guardiola took charge of Barca in 2008, and before taking a training session, he decided that selling Ronaldinho would benefit the club.
Other big-name stars were sold by Guardiola during his time at the club, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thierry Henry, Deco and Yaya Toure, with the latter now being one of his players at the Citizens in England.
The Spaniard also sold a couple of big name stars at Bayern, such as Mario Gomez, Toni Kroos, Mario Mandzukic and Luiz Gustavo, however, it was Bastian Schweinsteiger’s 2015 move to Manchester United that probably came as the biggest shock.
Guardiola is yet to sell any key players at City, though it have been reports that Aguero could look to leave the club at the end of the season.
