Bayern have completed the signing of Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez on a two-year loan deal, with an option to buy.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: “We’re delighted we’ve been able to complete this transfer. Signing James Rodríguez was our coach Carlo Ancelotti’s biggest wish, following their successful spell working together in Madrid.
“James is a very versatile player. He’s a goalscorer himself, he sets up a lot of goals and on top of that he’s great from set-pieces. There’s no question that this transfer further increases the quality in our team.”
And now as a Bayern player, James Rodriguez reveals his talk with Toni Kroos four month ago.
The Colombian said:
“I asked Toni Kroos four months ago about Bayern and the City of Munich and he told me that Munich is an amazing City and Bayern are a great club.”
Toni Kroos moved to Real Madrid from Bayern after World Cup 2014.
