Bayern join European elite in International Champions Cup

We’ve known that Bayern Munich would be heading to the United States since the fall for a couple of friendlies, and now we have some more information. The Bavarians will be competing in the International Champions Cup for the third consecutive year.

The worldwide friendly competition will feature the top clubs from Europe’s best leagues. Every “big” club from Europe has committed to the ICC at this time except for Barcelona. However, there will be one more club announced on April 17 to bring the total to 18.

There have been rumors that Bayern could feature in matches in Chicago and Dallas, but they haven’t confirmed the location of any of these matches yet.

In 2016, Bayern played both Milan clubs and Real Madrid in the USA. The following year, Bayern went to China and Singapore where they faced ArsenalChelsea, and both Milan clubs.
