French winger Kingsley Coman has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich this morning as Arsenal were tipped to be chasing the winger’s signature. However, a reliable Bundesliga source (@swearimnotpaul) has stated there is no way that Coman will be allowed to leave Bayern Munich as he is a crucial part of their plans for next season.
With Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery reaching the end of their glittering careers, Bayern are desperate to hold onto one of their promising youngsters and will not let him leave under any circumstances whatsoever. This is a position they feel needs strengthening rather than weakening.
The Bundesliga champions are prepared to let four big-name players go this summer, with Jerome Boateng, Juan Bernat, Thiago and Arturo Vidal all able to leave the club. These are four big players who are considered surplus to requirements according to Bild and we could see a large turnover of players at the Allianz Arena.
Arsenal and several other Premier League sides will be taking a look at those four players and seeing if they could accommodate them in their current squads. Thiago is a player who would improve most midfields in world football and will certainly generate a lot of interest. The Chilean Arturo Vidal will also attract interest although at 31-years-old he may be just getting past his prime.
But Kingsley Coman, the man who has attracted so much interest this morning in the papers, will remain a Bayern Munich player for the foreseeable future.
