Kevin Prince-Boateng has discussed his short period working under Jurgen Klopp.
The Ghana star was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in 2009 from Spurs, enjoying a fruitful spell, and would have signed permanently if it wasn’t for the financial restraints the Germans were suffering at the time.
“This is his magic: that 30 players are happy in a 30-man squad. I have not yet seen that in any coach; including players who have not played a minute.”
Interesting comments, certainly.
For me, Jurhen Klopp is a special tactical manager when it comes to developing a style and making a team greater than the sum of its parts.
In big matches, he’s showed timed and time again that he can deploy tactics that rip opponents apart.
Defensively, his tactics or at least his tactical instructions perhaps leave a little to be desired, but we wouldn’t change him for any boss in the world.
